MEET THE TEAM

TAMMY DAVIS

Director / B.Pod / MAPodA

Tammy was born and completed her early education in Bendigo. Her home town offered a wonderful platform to grow, learn and be active, and Tammy thoroughly enjoyed spending many hours on the tennis court in her childhood. It was this passion for sport, life and a healthy lifestyle, that sparked her interest to pursue a career in the health sciences.

Tammy completed her Podiatry degree at LaTrobe, Melbourne, and she returned home to share her expertise with the people she loved most. Tammy Davis Podiatry was founded in 1998. With a natural yearning to help people be their best, Tammy says Podiatry is the perfect fit, and she still loves what she does 25 years later.

Today, Tammy Davis Podiatry employs 3 podiatrists, and 2 very supportive admin staff – her Mum and Dad. It is somewhat of a large family.

Over the course of Tammy’s career, she has adopted new techniques and treatment regimes, continually enhancing her skills. However, Tammy’s underlying motivation is her desire to treat a person as whole. To be meticulous and thorough, and strive her absolute utmost to achieve the best outcome for each individual. “There is nothing more satisfying than seeing your patients pain free, and with a smile on their face,” she explains.

Whilst Tammy loves working full-time in her busy practice, she is also a devoted Mum and wife, and adores spending time with her young family – her husband, Lachlan, and their four children, Spencer, Charlotte, Poppy and Stella. “Life is never dull admittedly, however I am so fortunate to have supportive family, friends and wonderful clientele, who inspire me. I love being with people, sharing stories, and seeing people smile.

SALLY DEED

B.Pod

Sally has been practising Podiatry for over 10 years. Sally graduated from Latrobe University, Bundoora, and started her career as a new graduate in 2011 with Tammy Davis Podiatry. Sally worked at TDP for 5 years before moving to provide foot care in the Rochester and Echuca region in a public health setting.

In 2020, Sally and her partner happily resettled in Bendigo to embark on the journey of building their family. The year brought not only the joyous arrival of their first child Gus, in November 2020 but also the anticipation of another addition to their family expected in early 2024. Sally was excited to be able to rejoin the TDP team.

It is wonderful to have Sally and her expertise back in the fold. Sally brings a wide range of experience particularly in wound care and prevention, as well as a keen focus on the importance of reducing foot pain to improve balance and mobility. Sally is also a strong advocate for correct fitting footwear and helping her clients find the right fit and style for them.

In her spare time, Sally usually enjoys hiking and Mountain Bike Riding, however with a little one due in early 2024 she will be kept busy chasing after little feet at home.

TIM DEVEREAUX

B.Pod

Tim,  is currently our senior podiatrist and has been a loyal member of the TDP staff since 2017. Previously, Tim had worked in busy private podiatry practices in Horsham and Ballarat, where he developed a special interest in the management and treatment of lower limb injuries.

Biomechanics or the assessment of movement is Tim’s bread and butter. He loves the challenge of not only working out what is wrong but how to assist in the healing process to get you better as soon as possible.

In his own words he likes to state it’s a “treatment puzzle” where every piece is important no matter how big or small.

He’s very passionate about all aspects of podiatry and loves to treat every client like they’re a member of his family.

Tim is married to his beautiful wife Catherine. They’ve made their home in Golden Square, where they can be found enjoying walks along the creek trail and savoring coffee at one of Bendigo’s excellent cafes. Their family is completed by their fur baby Henry and their 1 year old Hamish.

Outside of work, you’ll find Tim either coaching or playing for North Bendigo Football Netball club, and during the summer months heading down the coast for a surf and to visit family.
